As the nights draw in we are all hits a post-summer slump. I was not able to get up today’s morning – I’m a bit sleepy head. Fortunately this is my last week of a holiday so I stayed in bed a little bit longer! I could!
This is the time when everyone has got cold. Really! Watery eyes, runny nose, sore throat – yes, there are early signs that you’re coming down with something. I have heard that from my family and friends, so before you grab your box of tissue and hop into bed – there are ways to nip that cold in the bud.
When I catch a flu… honestly I’m dying! Typical men! (Huge Babies – Love ya guys;p) Pharmacies are selling a lot of “magic tablets”… But I’m done with them. I’m always “high” after “CODRAL” or something like that. I wanna show you some easy ways to boost the immune. These immune boosters should help you sail through the season with health and smile!
LEMON + GINGER + HONEY
This is the best vitamins shot ever! Firstly, squeeze the juice of two lemons, add some fresh ginger and honey next blend them well. Drink twice a day ( morning/evening) for 3 days. I guarantee that it will boost your immune system and give you more energy!
LEMON + GINGER + GARLIC
Part hard! Are you ready? Squeezed juice of two lemons blends with two cloves of garlic and some fresh ginger. ( If you have a heavy sore throat do not drink the shot ). It does not smell nice, but It will help you! Garlic is one of the best immune boosters and kills bacterias and viruses. Drink twice a day for 3 days! During these days.. please, stay at home.. you might not smell great!
ORANGE + LEMON + GRAPEFRUIT
I read last time that a squeezed juice of three oranges, lemon and grapefruit drink twice a day can give your immune system a charge! When you feel something is coming, start drinking the juice. It should make you feel better!
HERBS: SAGE, CHAMOMILE, ELDERBERRY
I convinced myself to drink a herbal infusion a few years ago. When Autumn comes I drink the infusion of dried nettle every day! Sometimes I add some raspberry syrup or honey, but without no additives, it tastes the best. Dried nettle is a very good immune booster and antiseptic.
It’s no fun you have to blow your nose or when you walk around with head full thick gunk. If this sounds like you, herbal infusions are your friends! LINDEN FLOWERS – their traditional uses include to help treat flu or a cough. Modern research suggests that linden flower tea might have some significant health benefits. CHAMOMILE – popular uses of chamomile preparations include treating inflammation. ELDERBERRY – Scientists conducting studies on elderberry showed that elderberry anthocyanins enhance immune function by boosting the production of cytokines. These unique proteins act as messengers in the immune system to help regulate the immune response, thus helping to defend the body against disease. Find your favorite herbs and drink herbal infusion every day! You can mix some different herbs at home or buy them mixed. Remember to buy herbs only from reputable suppliers.
Keep a full glass close by. Any fluid — besides alcohol — will count toward keeping you hydrated. This is very important. Of course, plain water is best, but warm tea with raspberry syrup (homemade is the best), rosehip syrup ( which contains 30 times more Vitamin C than lemon) or honey and lemon juice is always a good idea to warm up your body and keep them hydrated.
